I prefer to believe a peduncle is natures way of saying "there are many strings to my bow".
I have a background in Art and Design, and for as far back as I can remember, I was always sketching away with a pencil. I spent many a day at my Nan and Grandads' allotment, and listened as they reeled off a whole bunch of names of plants and flowers, and was amazed at their knowledge. Only in later life was I truly captivated by the beauty of flowers, and the endless possibilities for creative expression within this field.
